Hari Rabu ba'da maghrib, tiba-tiba aja mbak Yuyun (kakak perempuan saya) nelpon dari Purwokerto. Ibunya Mas Hendri (suaminya mbak Yun) meninggal dunia di Binjai karena sakit ginjal . Mas Hendrinya sendiri sebenernya udah dari kemarennya tau kalo ibunya sakit keras, mas Hendri udah disuruh pulang ke Binjai. Dan Maghrib itu, sebenernya udah di perjalanan ke Bandung, tempat uwaknya, trus dari Bandung baru sama-sama uwaknya berangkat ke Binjai. Tapi udah gak keburu...
Kebetulan sore itu saya yang nerima telpon, suaranya mbak Yun aneh... Bergetar... Sedih ya... Saya juga jadi ikut sedih, mertuanya mbak Yun berarti 'orangtua' saya juga. Kasihan sama mbak Yun, sendirian di kontrakan sama dede' Farah. Mbak Yun ga bisa ngikut, wong masih kuliah, udah gitu dede' juga blm bisa dibawa jauh-jauh.
Hari Jum'at sore, ibu baru pulang dari kantor. Bawa berita heboh. Pak Simamora ditembak mati. Pak Simamora itu guru SMP saya, beliau ngajar pelajaran Sejarah. Terkenal killer plus galak. Tapi Pak Simamora juga suka ngelucu... aneh ya...
Kejadiannya di deket kantor ibu, yang juga deket rumahnya Pak Simamora. Beliau ditembak orang gak dikenal. Saya gak habis pikir, kok bisa ya? Pak Simamora kan udah tua banget. Sekarang umurnya mungkin udah 50 atau 60-an. Ada masalah apa ya?
Saya bingung. Dua 'orangtua' saya dijemput ajal dalam dua cara yang berbeda. Mengingatkan saya betapa ajal begitu dekat, sangat dekat bahkan terlalu dekat. Nah, sudah siap belum?
